Kelly Wallace, Medical Esthetician & Laser Specialist

Kelly grew up in the Boston area, attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received her Bachelor of Science in 2002. During this time, she held an internship at the Friend's Boutique at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Here, she set up fittings for wigs, prosthetic bras, breast prostheses, as well as appointments for the Look Good…Feel Better program, a service that provides skincare products and further demonstrates make-up techniques, such as recreating eyebrows after chemotherapy. While she'd always been intrigued by skincare and the spa industry as a whole, this particular internship confirmed that she wanted to continue to help people feel better about themselves, inside and out.

Kelly went on to receive her esthetic license in 2003 from the Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics, graduating at the top of her class. She started her career in the
Boston area focusing on traditional spa services and truly enjoyed attaining visible results with her clients.

She then moved to Chicago in 2005 and took the opportunity to achieve even more dramatic improvements in people's skin conditions through a more medical approach. She has taken several advanced education classes receiving certifications in chemical peels, skin biology and physiology, microdermabrasion, various lasers and IPL machines, facial massage techniques, and make-up application. In 2007, she received her certification in Medical Esthetics from True University in Chicago.

When not at Thrive Integrative Medical Spa or advancing her education, Kelly enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two little dogs. She loves traveling to new places and old.
