Are there any side effects to Titan?

There is a less that 1% chance that bruising or infection may occur.

What happens after the Titan procedure?

Immediately following the treatment, there may be some slight redness. You will be able to return to normal activities with no down time.

Is there another way to get the same effect?

The alternatives include surgery, liposuction, and cosmetic fillers.

How is this different than other procedures?

The Titan works by helping to firm and tighten lax skin by stimulating collagen production. Other modalities will lift muscular atrophy (electrostimulation), plump and fill in wrinkles (Restylane), or relax muscle movement to minimize crows feet and forehead line (Botox).

Can this be combined with other treatments?

Yes, the Titan can be done individually or it may be combined with other corrective modalities such as microdermabrasion, age spot removal, or Botox® for a more dramatic effect. Virtually any procedure can be combined with the Titan with no harmful side effects.

How does tissue tightening work?

Infrared energy can be used to heat deeper layers of the skin while protecting the surface layers. This heating activates fibroblasts stimulating new collagen to form and existing collagen to tighten over time.

What does the Titan treatment feel like?

This procedure is very comfortable compared to other tissue tightening methods on the market. It will feel like a warm pinch and the end of each pulse. There is no after pain afterwards. This is a non-invasive treatment, meaning you will be able to immediately return to your normal activities with no down time.

What are the expected results?

Patients can expect to see more definition in the jaw line, lifted cheek bone area, contoured neckline, and firmer skin in general. Most patients will see a definite modest to moderate improvements. Results may take up to 6 months to see and are not the same as a surgical procedure. Nobody is sure how long results will last, we know that most people get 1-2 years of tissue tightening.

How many treatments will I need?

If you just beginning see the signs of sagging (age 30 – 40), 2 treatments is recommended. If you are 10 years or more (40 – 60) into the aging process, 3 treatments is recommended.
