Deep Cleansing Facial

This one hour treatment includes a thorough skin assessment and evaluation. We will determine if your skin is Dry, Normal, or Oily and use the proper 100% organic products to address your skin type. An exfoliation method will be chosen that can include the use of a manual brush,  exfoliating scrub, or enzyme treatment depending on you skin type.   Extractions are then performed if needed and appropriate. A mask is then chosen to target specific patient concerns and skin conditions.  After the mask is removed, appropriate hydrators, serums, and sunscreen will be applied. This facial will nourish, improve hydration and circulation, as well as keep the pores free of excess oil and blackheads.

Teen Anti-Bacterial Acne Facial

Glycolic Peel

Glycolic peels are all natural (derived from sugar cane) and are in the lightest category of chemical peels. Known as a "lunchtime procedure," due to their short duration and rapid recovery time, glycolic peels can be used to remove superficial wrinkles and dry patches of skin, as well as to treat sun damage and acne scars. Recent research has also indicated that glycolic peels can help patients with acne and rosacea, making the skin more responsive to laser treatments and home care products. The procedure may need to be repeated several times in order to achieve the best possible results.

There is no downtime associated with a glycolic peel. Some dryness, flakiness, and redness should be expected, as the top layer of skin falls away to reveal the smoother, healthier skin beneath.

Jessner's Peel

The Jessner’s peel effectively treats acne scarring, skin discoloration, moderate wrinkling, and sun damage.  It is a medium strength peel which consists of multiple peeling agents.  These agents penetrate deeper into the skin and result in greater exfoliation of the outer skin layers.   This peel is lighter than the other medium peeling agent, TCA, and is therefore usable in the younger, less sun damaged person. 

Following the procedure, a slight burning sensation may be noticed.  Your skin will develop a red sunburn appearance 2-3 days after the application.  Facial peeling occurs approximately 3-4 days following the application.  This procedure has a short recovery time of about 5-7 days.

The result of this process is that your new skin will feel smoother, appear fresher and more youthful.  Jessner's Peels can provide improved skin appearance with a short recovery time.

Beta Peel

Salicylic acid or beta peels are often prescribed for patients who have oily skin or are acne prone.  The Beta peel is a very elegant superficial peel.  Unlike other superficial peels, the Beta Peel generally has little or no downtime.  The safety profile is excellent and these peels can be done on most skin types.   It is a very brief procedure done usually in about 15 minutes and there is no pain, only an occasional mild stinging in some individuals. 

If you are suffering from moderate to severe acne, this treatment is best used in conjunction with the Isolaz Acne Therapy.  With the Isolaz we see a quicker response in reduction of the inflammatory pimples and a faster resolution of brown discoloration and a smoothing of the skin.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a precise, elegant and highly effective superficial exfoliation.  "Planing" as it is commonly referred to, relies on the simplest of tools but the most artful of skill to deeply scrape and exfoliate away the top layers of inert skin. This low tech treatment yields the highest dividends in skin toning, clarifying and re-texturizing and is ideally suited for all ages and skin types.

When compared to other cell turnover techniques such as microdermabrasion which uses suction and abrasives and chemical peeling, dermaplaning offers a deeper exfoliation as the esthetician systematically scrapes away layer upon layer of unnecessary, dead skin cells.  Clients are always delighted at the feel of their skin after being dermaplaned and can hardly believe how even and youthful they appear. The saying "No pain, no gain" does not apply to this highly effective exfoliating technique!

Anti Aging Multi-vitamin Facial

This rejuvenating, organic facial primarily uses rich antioxidant, Grapes, to reduce the appearance of fine lines, stimulate collagen production and firm the skin. Since biblical times, Grapes have been used in beauty regimens because of their abundance of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. First, your skin will be cleansed with an organic Grapeseed Cleansing Milk. After your feet have been draped in aromatherapy-infused hot towels, your face is exfoliated with an organic AHA Fruit Peel. �The exfoliation step is followed by a soothing steam treatment, extractions, upper body massage, facial massage and acupressure.
