2 Day Advanced Esthetics and Cosmetic Laser Class

This class has been designed to meet the educational needs of estheticians, cosmetologists, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants and physician assistants involved in the care of patients seeking aesthetic enhancement procedures. 

The 2-day curriculum is designed to give students in-depth knowledge on how laser and IPL systems operate. An overview of the anatomy and physics of skin and hair, Photofacials, acne treatments, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and medical-grade chemical peels will be presented. The lecture will include Laser/IPL skin interaction, skin typing and analysis, as well as operational and treatment safety measures. Secondly, discussion of contraindications, adverse events, benefits, client consultation, safety issues, expected results and medical terminology will be covered on Day 1.

Day 2 will provide hands-on practicum sessions of the following:

During the course you will gain valuable insight and pearls on the "How To" of optimal success. Attendees will receive a course manual. A certificate showing Certification of Hands-on Training will be provided upon completion of the course. Each attendee must serve as a model during the practicum if appropriate.

We are here to teach you theory; as well as, hands on training during this 3 hour course.  Each course includes a detailed explanation of each treatment, how to determine the best candidate, consultation guidelines, contraindications, pre and post care.  In addition, everyone in the class will personally perform a treatment!

Healing the Skin from the Inside Out - $75 (1.5 hours)

Do you feel that no matter how great of a facial or how well your client follows your recommended home care routine that they are still fighting Acne, Rosacea, or Dehyration? That is because the problems are coming from the “gut” not from the skin. Learn how to diagnose skin types that need internal supplements in addition to facial treatments and topicals. Furthermore, you will walk away confident of how supplements such as fish oil, probiotics, primrose oil and antioxidants aide in the skins’ healing process.  Our Nathropathic Doctor (ND) will also give you a basic questionnaire so that you can help your client find a solution to their skin issues not just a temporary fix.
