Thrive's 3D approach to rejuvenating your skin: Tone, Texture, Tighten

Laser Genesis™ is part of our 3D approach to treating acne scarring, wrinkles, rosacea, uneven texture, sagging and sun damage.

1. Laser Genesis™ penetrates deep into the cellular layer of the skin to correct wrinkles and redness.
2. Microdermabrasion and chemical peels help to refine the surface while the laser corrects the problem at the cellular level. A photofacial can be added to erase sun damage, age spots and melasma (pregnancy mask).
3. Titan uses an infrared light to penetrate deep into the dermis, deep-heating the tissue in the targeted area and stimulating long-dormant collagen. As a result, the collagen contracts and tightens, producing visibly firmer-looking skin in the treated area. Results become more dramatic over time as collagen re-builds through a series of treatments. Titan is effective and safe for all skin types. There is no downtime associated with this treatment.

Fractional CO2 Laser Skin Resurfacing

Significantly improve the tone and texture of skin in 1-2 treatments. The CO2 ablative laser skin resurfacing provides the most effective treatment for aged, photo-damaged, and acne-scarred skin, with minimal erythema, discomfort and downtime.

By combining its proprietary and proven Pixel fractional technology to traditional CO2,

Alma Lasers offers the most innovative approach to laser surgery. It provides the dramatic benefits of traditional CO2 laser skin resurfacing while minimizing the risks and side effects.

This fractionated laser therapy (similar to Fraxel) produces arrays of micro-thermal zones at customizable depths, while sparing the tissue surrounding each wound. During the procedure, just 20% of the tissue is treated. The 80% that remains supplies the healing that leads to the elimination of irregular epidermal pigmentation, tightening of dermal collagen and the smoothing that results from the generation of new collagen.

There is minimal down time and faster healing compared to treadtional CO2 laser therapy. Patients return to normal activities within 3-7 days.

BOTOX® for Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis)

In approximately 1% of the population, the nerves are over-stimulated and sweat is produced far greater than needed to keep a constant temperature. This condition is referred to as Hyperhydrosis. Profuse sweating may be caused by warm weather, emotional stress, or for no reason at all. Hyperhidrosis is a troublesome problem that results in awkward social situations for those that are affected.

BOTOX® is the preferred treatment of Hyperhidrosis due to the fact that topical and oral medications, iontophoresis, and surgery have not proven to be efficacious in the majority of patients. Because the eccrine glands are innervated by sympathetic nerves that use acetylcholine as the neurotransmitter, BOTOX® is effective in temporarily reducing or abolishing sweat production in treated areas.

Restylane®

Restylane® is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds and lips. It is made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the human body. Restylane maintains its shape using the body's own moisture. As hyaluronic acid gradually degrades, each molecule binds to more water and over time, the same volume can be maintained with less hyaluronic acid. This ability of hyaluronic acid to bind to water is what helps provide lasting results.

Restylane® is free from animal proteins, unlike bovine collagen products. This limits any risk of animal-based disease transmissions or development of allergic reactions to animal proteins.

Latisseâ„¢

LATISSE™ solution is the first and only prescription treatment approved by the FDA for inadequate or not having enough eyelashes, growing them longer, fuller and darker. It is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker and darker.

LATISSE™ is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways: first, it increases the length of this phase; and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase. The exact way it works is unknown. The solution is a once-a-day treatment you apply yourself each evening to the base of the upper eyelashes.

Great eyelashes don't just happen overnight. That's why it's important to note that LATISSE™ (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% works gradually and remarkably with full results after 12 to 16 weeks. Once you begin treatment, you must continue applying the topical solution each night and follow the directions for best results. Remember results are gradual over time.

Your eyelashes will experience real measurable growth.
LATISSE™ works from the inside out. As the treatment progresses, you'll begin to see changes in length, thickness and darkness gradually. After week 16, you'll see the full effect of LATISSE™ and so will others.

There are possible side effects.
Throughout clinical trials, some users did experience itchy eyes and eye redness. However, some users found that these irritations went away once they became accustomed to the product or began applying it properly.
