What Are Chemical Peels?

What Is the EZ Lift with PRX-T33?
The EZ Lift with PRX-T33 is a chemical peel that can be combined with our facials to perfect the skin. It has a lifting effect, and treatments result in brighter, tighter, and healthier skin.
This peel contains three powerful ingredients: hydrogen peroxide, kojic acid, and trichloroacetic acid. Together these ingredients dissolve the top layers of the skin, promote cellular renewal, and increase natural collagen and elastin production. It also can strengthen the skin’s protective barrier and treat the most common skin conditions.

How Does It Work?
This treatment process is quick and straightforward. First, we’ll cleanse and dry your skin before massaging the product into the treatment area until total absorption. If you undergo a facial before your treatment, we’ll make the PRX-T33 treatment an extension of that facial. Depending on your skincare goals and the state of your skin at the time of treatment, we’ll apply multiple applications to address your concerns.
Once the peel has adequately exfoliated and tightened your skin, we’ll remove it and complete the treatment by applying some corrective and protective topical products. From start to finish, the treatment typically takes 20 to 30 minutes. If you want to treat multiple areas, your treatment time may be longer.
When Will I See the Results?
After your treatment, you’ll notice an immediate improvement in your skin. Your skin will appear more voluminous, brighter, and tighter. Your overall appearance will have a well-rested look, and you’ll notice an improvement in your problem areas.
The best results typically come from scheduling several treatments with some time between each. We typically recommend that patients schedule at least four treatments with at least a week between each for optimal results and a significant increase in natural collagen production.
Is There Any Downtime?
Unlike many chemical peels, especially the stronger ones, there’s no downtime after this peel. Once it’s over, you can resume your normal daily and social activities. You may notice some flaking after your treatment, which is a sign that your body is eliminating dead skin cells from the surface. Those cells will be replaced by healthier, younger cells.
Flaking is normal, and you can treat it by using the right moisturizing products. We’ll make product recommendations after your session so you know what to use to enhance your results and promote a quick recovery.
